Introduction
Welcome to our Winchester Thurston North (WTN) Field Guide. Our school is located in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. In this field guide we tell you a lot of information, like the description and habitat of various animals. The 2014-2015 fifth grade class at WT North has researched many different creatures. Some did mammals; some did birds. There are 12 different animals in this field guide.
Our steps to completing the website were brainstorming, researching, designing, formatting, editing, photo taking, finishing touches, and last but most definitely not least, publishing.
The reason why we did this project is because the North Hills Campus only goes to fifth grade; therefore, we are all going to different schools next year. This is our legacy project, the thing that we will leave behind as our legacy. We hope that every year 5th grade students add on to this website.
Most of the students and faculty at WTN will be looking at this website, but if you are a guest or do not go to WTN we welcome you to our website.
Maybe after you look at our website you will be able to identify some of these animals in your own backyard. We hope you learn and enjoy!
