Description:
The Red-Tailed Hawk is 22 inches long. Its wingspan is 50 inches long. The chicks leave their nest when they are 5 weeks old. They live in the woods. The red-tailed hawk's tail is brown' and its belly is white. Its beak is yellow. It has sharp talons to grab fish out of the water.
Diet:
The Red-Tailed Hawk eats fish, squirrels, and rabbits.
Offspring:
1-4 eggs incubated for 27-33 days

Great Horned Owls and Eagles
